Guatemala Asks U.S. Government to Ensure That Deportees Are Free From Covid-19

MEXICO CITY—Guatemala would like U.S. authorities to present professional medical ensures that deported migrants are free from the coronavirus just before enabling the resumption of deportee flights from the U.S., Guatemalan officials claimed Saturday.

The impoverished Central American country is willing to just take its nationals but would like to make sure all deportees are balanced so as to cease the country, which is locked down by a curfew, from starting to be a key target of the Covid-19 pandemic, the officials claimed.
