Cyclone Amphan LIVE: Heavy rain in Bengal, Odisha; Kolkata in red zone

Cyclone Amphan Stay updates: Cyclone Amphan will make landfall close to Sundarbans in between Digha (West Bengal) and Hatiya Islands (Bangladesh) as an “extremely intense cyclonic storm” on Wednesday afternoon or evening, dumping significant rain with howling winds at sustained winds of 155-165 kmph, gusting to 185 kmph.
“Amphan is the most intensive and the 1st super cyclone because the 1999 Odisha cyclone.
