Air India Delhi-Moscow flight returns after pilot found Covid-19 positive

An Air India flight from Delhi to Moscow on Saturday had to return halfway immediately after the airline’s ground group observed out that just one of the pilots had analyzed constructive for novel coronavirus, officials claimed.

“When the A320 aircraft, which did not have any travellers as it was heading to Moscow to bring back again stranded Indians underneath Vande Bharat Mission, had attained Uzbekistan’s airspace, our group on the ground realised that just one of the pilots had analyzed Covid-constructive,” senior Air India officials claimed.

“The flight was straight away questioned to return. It arrived back again to Delhi at all over 12.thirty pm on Saturday,” the officials claimed.

The crew has been quarantined. Another aircraft would be sent to Moscow to bring back again the stranded Indians, according to the officials.
